Four-Star QB Husan Longstreet set to announce on 247Sports YouTube Channel

Corona (Calif.) Centennial quarterback Husan Longstreet is set to make his college choice on the 247Sports YouTube Channel on Sunday.

Longstreet is the top un-committed quarterback in the country, checking in as the No. 28 player nationally in the Top247.

He has a final four of Auburn, Ole Miss, Oregon and Texas A&M and will announce on the 247Sports YouTube Channel Sunday, April 14 at 2:00 PT/5:00 ET.

This remains a very tight race and from talking to someone close to Longstreet’s recruitment, a final decision has yet to be made. Auburn and A&M have most of the buzz right now and the plan is for the family to lock in and make their final decision and calls later today/tonight.

A&M is the Crystal Ball leader and Longstreet has a great relationship with the Aggies coaching staff and especially with new OC Collin Klein. The recent visit to Auburn was an eye opener for Longstreet and we know he loves the WR room and the QB depth chart as well.

Oregon and Ole Miss have been mainstays on his list for over a year. Duck head coach Dan Lanning has always been personally involved in his recruitment and Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin has been recruiting Longstreet since he was a freshman.

Longstreet has unofficially visited all four schools over the last month and has strong relationships with the four coaching staffs.

“It’s always been about relationships and development for me,” Longstreet said. “I had some great options but these four schools are the ones that I felt most connected to.

“I also feel like I can be developed the best at these four programs so that’s how they made the cut. It’s been a really tough decision and I’m still not there yet but I’m getting closer.”

Longstreet is coming off a strong junior season where he threw for 3,013 yards and 24 touchdowns and added another 645 yards and seven scores on the ground.

He has always been a gifted thrower but the ability to use his legs to pick up chunks of yards was a bit of a revelation and a part of his game he hadn’t shown before.

At 6-1, 200 pounds, Longstreet isn’t considered a big quarterback but has as strong an arm with one of the quickest releases as anyone in the ’25 class. He has a 77″ wing with 11″ hands and our guess is he’s not done growing yet.

He was the first quarterback invited to the Elite 11 Finals this cycle after a strong showing at the SoCal Regional Camp back in March.
