Boston College first P4 offer for CB TJ Green

Boston College hosted and offered Reynoldsburg (Ohio) cornerback Tyree Green over the weekend. They are the first P4 offer for Green, a 6-foot-0, 170-pound prospect who recently ran 10.7 in the 100-meter dash.

“The thing that stood out the most from BC was the culture,” Green said. “For a whole new staff, it’s hard to see schools become so together so fast and after talking to multiple guys on roster, GA’s and staff it seemed like a huge family already.”

“Also the coaches showed love as soon as I walked into the door,” he continued. “I got to meet with the head coach, defensive coordinator, defensive backs coach, and my recruiting area coach, and every single one of them had a different thing to say on why they loved me, and how I could help the program. Not only that they showed me. I talked to the defensive coordinator for over an hour and was the last recruit to leave the building.”

Green has 13 total offers now but the Eagles are in strong position.

“I’m very interested,” he said. “They have shot up on my board instantly. Over the past couple weeks, I was able to build a strong relationship with multiple coaches on staff and players in the DB room. I can definitely see it becoming home really soon. I am planning on scheduling my official visit soon also.”

Green also visited Iowa State recently.

“ISU said the biggest thing right now is to see me workout in person. I was absolutely amazed with the facilities and people there especially,” he said.

Northwestern and Indiana have also shown interest.

Green has a 3.5 GPA in the classroom.
