Angel Reese Shares Awesome NYC Selfie With Caitlin Clark, Top Prospects Before WNBA Draft

The top prospects of the WNBA draft visited the Empire State Building on Monday, hours before their lives will change forever when being selected to the league.

LSU’s Angel Reese, who is expected to be selected somewhere in the first 10 picks, posted a selfie of her and other famous college basketball stars on top of the tallest building in New York City on Monday. One of the fellow stars included Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, who is projected to be selected No. 1 by the Indiana Fever.

The other players included Stanford’s Cameron Brink, Tennessee’s Rickea Jackson, UConn’s Aaliyah Edwards and Syracuse’s Dyaisha Fair. The players were all seen wearing the iconic orange WNBA sweatshirts.

Reese and Clark have had an interesting relationship since they faced each other in the 2023 NCAA tournament title game. The drama between the two stemmed during the tournament last year, but they have both cleared the air that nothing malicious was happening between them.

This season, the two were respectful and celebrated each other’s accomplishments on social media, like when Reese congratulated Clark for breaking the NCAA Division I women’s basketball scoring record.

Iowa then got its revenge on LSU in this year’s NCAA tournament when the Hawkeyes beat the Tigers in the Elite Eight. Iowa once again lost in the title game, this time to South Carolina.

Their “rivalry” is solely on the basketball court, and it doesn’t seem to be anything personal.
